Cookies policy

What are cookies?

A "cookie" is a short text file created on the user’s computer when the user accesses a given site, with the purpose of storing and transferring information. Cookies are sent from a web server (i.e. the computer running the website you are visiting) to your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and stored on your computer. They are then sent back to the website on subsequent visits. When browsing, the user may also receive cookies from different sites (so-called "third party" cookies), set directly by the managers of these websites and used for the purposes and in the manner defined by them.

Types of cookies used by this site

This website uses technical cookies to ensure and facilitate navigation, to access contents and to collect information, in aggregate form, about visits. Third party cookies are also used for profiling purposes.

The site uses only technical cookies, in respect of which no consent is required from the person concerned pursuant to current regulations.

No personal user data are acquired by this website. We do not use cookies to disseminate information of a personal nature, nor do we use so-called ‘persistent’ cookies of any kind, or systems for tracing users.

The use of so-called session cookies – which are temporarily stored on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed – is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable a safe and efficient website.

The session cookies used in this website prevent the use of other computer techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of the user’s navigation and do not allow the acquisition of their personal data.

More specifically, this website uses:

  1. Third-party cookies.

They allow the content of the site to be enriched with material from external parties.

B1. Analytics technical cookies

This website uses Google Analytics for purely statistical purposes. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google") that uses cookies, which are stored on the user's computer to allow statistical analysis in aggregate form regarding the use of the website visited. It should also be noted that in addition to cookies, a pixel tag is also used by Google (see relevant information).

Google uses the personal data collected for the purpose of tracing and examining the use of this application, compiling reports and sharing them with other services developed by Google. This website disables the sharing with other services developed by Google. Google may use personal data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its advertising network.

This Google Analytics integration anonymizes your IP address. The anonymization works by shortening the IP address of the Users within the Member States of the European Union or other countries that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the IP address will be sent to Google's servers and shortened within the United States (see information).

As expressly indicated by Italy’s privacy authorities with the "Clarifications regarding the implementation of the legislation on cookies" of June 5, 2015, those sites that use, for mere statistical purposes, analytical cookies made available by third parties are not subject to the obligations and fulfillments provided by legislation if appropriate tools are in place to reduce the identifying power of the analytical cookies they use (for example, by hiding significant portions of the IP address). This is so provided that the use of such cookies is subject to contractual obligations between sites and third parties, in which there is express reference to the commitment of the third party or to use them exclusively for the provision of the service, to store them separately and not to ‘enrich’ or ‘cross’ with other information they have.

As already mentioned, the Owner of this website has decided to make use of the function of anonymization of the IP of the users provided by Google and has accepted the Google Analytics Data Processing Amendment v20130906 made available by Google Analytics in compliance with Directive 95/46/EC, by which Google commits to processing the data according to the requests of the Client/Owner of this website and not to share them with other additional services unless the Client himself requests it, through the settings of the services. On this point, we inform the user that the Owner of this Site has not linked Google Analytics to any additional service and that no advertising or data-sharing option with Google has been activated.

In relation to the measures taken, the Google Analytics service used by this website for purely statistical purposes, is activated upon landing, and no consent is required from the user for the release of the relative cookies.
